There are (or will be) how-to’s, best practices, fixes and workarounds, and anything else he can think up related to “SPD”. Microsoft SharePoint Developer Documentation Team Blog

Official Blog of the SharePoint Developer Documentation Team.
We created this blog in order to be able to:

  • Present “draft” versions of SDK content before it’s available in the SDKs themselves. These drafts are tech-reviewed content that will end up in the SDKS; this is just our way of getting the information out to you as quick as we can.
  • Promote content that we publish on MSDN. This includes giving you the latest news on new technical articles, SDK updates, code samples or tools downloads, and anything else new and noteworthy we think you’ll want to take a look at.
  • Blog about the developer documentation we produce, and why. Ever wonder why we document what we do, in the way we do? In future posts we’ll explore the decisions we make when planning SharePoint developer documentation, and the data we base those decisions on.
  • Engage with users, and find out just how developers are using (or would like to use) the documentation we produce.
  • Experiment with presenting developer documentation in new and different formats.

I know that I've personally used it numerous times to get my own SharePoint questions answered!

The personal website for Stephen Toulouse Stephen Toulouse

Formally, I was the Communications Manager for security response at Microsoft from 2002 to 2006.  I worked alongside a team of great people triaging and investigating and solving reported vulnerabilities in Microsoft software.

Then, in 2006 I became a senior product manager in the Trustworthy Computing Group, working with security features of our new operating system, Windows Vista, as well as our forthcoming server OS, Codename Longhorn Server.

Not SharePoint related but given his position and that he hosts his blog on SharePoint rather than the formal MS blog platform, should give us some confidence about the security of SharePoint.

Wouters weblogWouter van Vugt
A small introduction might be in order. My name is Wouter van Vugt, certified developer and trainer. I have a strong passion for Microsoft .NET technology which I pursue through my own company Code Counsel. My main focus lies in the field of Microsoft ASP.NET development, SharePoint and Microsoft Office technologies such as Open XML and Visual Studio Tools for Office. I have authored the world's first book on Open XML called "Open XML Explained", which you can obtain from the Open XML Developer website, or get a hard-copy in any of four languages. I have authored the popular Package Explorer tool for Open XML developers, available on CodePlex. With the clean Windows Forms architecture it also provides a great learning application for development techniques in Windows Forms development. I have also been told that I am a decendent of Michiel de Ruyter, but I am lucky enough not to inherit his looks, or style of cloathing.
