SharePoint Designer (SPD) is required to configure the Data Source and the Data View web part.
Create a new Web Service in the data Source Library using The Inset Data View menu in SPD.
After defining this Data Source in SharePoint Designer, you can view the Web Service result
Now select "Insert Selected Fields as... Single Item View" from the "Insert Selected Field As..." drop down.
You can delete the field name column, just leaving the picture URL and change the DailyDilbertImagePathResult field format from Text to Image to end up with this...
