Hi Ian, can we use this tool to split a site collection's DB? We have a single site collection and are reaching 100GB. Do you know of a way to have multiple DBs for a single site collection? Many thanks.

A site collection can't span databases. So you have to use stsadm -o export to get backup some of the subsites, then delete them from the site collection. Then you can create a new contentdb/site collection and import the deleted sites back in.
